Renew Risk launches industry survey into renewable risk management requirements

Dr Joshua Macabuag, CEO at Renew Risk

Renew Risk has launched an industry survey to gather insights into which risk management tools are most needed by insurers, developers and financiers working in the renewable energy market.

The main survey takes just 5 minutes to complete and focuses on overarching themes such as key barriers to adoption and which risk models industry currently needs most.

In addition to the essential questions, respondents have the option to opt-into answering an additional 8 questions. This requires a further 5 minutes and delves into:

  • Specific granularity around outputs,

  • The importance of interdependencies, and

  • Future risk concerns.

The responses to the survey will be used to inform Renew Risk’s roadmap, ensuring the team builds the models the industry requires.

The incentive

Those who complete the full extended survey will have the chance to enter a prize draw to win a 10-day storm chasing tour through the US’ Tornado Alley in 2027, worth £2495.

The tour will be run by storm chasing duo Aaron and Dave, who have spent the past decade chasing storms in high-spec SUVs packed with the latest tech with their company See Nature’s Fury. Check out their website for more information on dates and what’s included in the prize.

Our very own CEO, Dr Joshua Macabuag is heading on one of these trips himself in 2026: keep an eye on our LinkedIn for more insights and updates.

Once the survey is closed, we may share overarching themes in our marketing material. However, responses will be anonymised and personal details will not be shared outside of Renew Risk.
